Work includes construction of a new 1 story 24,000 sf classroom building with mezzanine and three bay fire apparatus bay. Classroom building consists of offices, locker rooms, simulation lab space and classrooms. The building consists of aggregate pier foundations, structural steel and load bearing masonry with small mezzanine, metal deck roof, with single-ply PVC Membrane Roofing. The skin will be metal studs, sheathing, air barrier, masonry and metal panels, including Curtainwall and Storefront windows. Interiors will be resilient, carpet, and ceramic tile flooring, drywall and acoustical ceilings, wood doors and hardware, casework, operable partitions, and signage. Site structures include 3 story 4,393 sf Burn Building with cast-in place concrete, thermal linings and exterior stair; 4 story 3,420 sf Training Tower with load bearing masonry, concrete floor slabs and exterior stair; Technical Rescue feature with cast-in place concrete elements for trench and confined space training. The civil work consists of site clearing, earthwork, site utilities, asphalt paving along with concrete paving. Landscaping consists of seeding/sod and irrigation and project fencing and gates.
